Yes people, how’s tricks? 👋

It’s been a hot minute since we jumped online, but sure enough we’ve been busy behind the scenes planning something tasty…

Before we get into that though, let’s have a little look back at the last 3 parties in MCR 👀

YES PEOPLE! Hope you’re all thriving and surviving—because we’ve got BIG NEWS.

Our very own residents, Adam & Rossa, are bringing the full Beatnik sound to this year’s festival! If you know these two, you already know the levels—so missing this one is simply not an option.

It’s an absolute privilege to rep our brand at what is, without question, the best festival on the planet. Both lads have shelled it down solo over the years, but now, they’re stepping up together to do what they do best—this time as a duo flying our banner.

With a string of sellout parties around Manchester and a record label under their belt, it’s only right we bring the heat to one of the best Gottwood lineups yet.

See you lovely lot deep in the woods.

Big love,
BC x

Beatnik Collects 029 // Ponyfeet NOW LIVE 🚨

Bio 👆🏼

Meet Mark & Pablo, two vinyl-obsessed selectors who’ve been slinging House and Techno since the early 2000s . No USBs, no sync buttons—just wax, crackles, and the occasional misplaced needle drop.

Back in the 2000s, these two hosted the ultimate afterparty gaff Instead of a sensible kitchen, they built a full-blown club—complete with Technics, a Gemini 3-channel “crackle special” mixer, and an open-door policy for any gurning raver who could still manage a head bob. Sundays? Think marathon DJ sets spanning breakbeat, electro house, tribal grooves, proper UK tech house, and whatever else kept the walls from caving in.

By 2008, they figured they might as well make some tunes too. Their debut landed on Berlin’s Peon label, with the track Bokor catching the ears of Dr. Motte and sneaking into the DJ download top 100. Later, they dropped S***k! on Scottish indie label Opto before settling into their spiritual home on Mexican imprint Zotz Recordingz.

Fast forward to now: they’ve just launched Digs’n’Jigs Records and hold it down as residents of Waves Collective in Berlin. Basically, if you like your music deep, groovy, and pressed on wax, these are your guys.

Easy, people!

We just wanted to jump on and wish you all a Happy New Year! Yes, we know we’re a bit early, but let’s face it – we won’t be posting at midnight. We’ll be out there getting stuck in on the D floor, making more memories like the rest of you, either waffling sh*te in the smoking area or hugging someone we’ve just met after “only popping out for a few.” A tale as old as time itself. No bones about it.

2024 has been an incredible year for us – though we won’t lie, it started off a bit rough. But we bounced back with three solid parties from Leeds to Manchester, two amazing vinyl records, and a digital series on Bandcamp showcasing some of the UK’s finest emerging talent alongside well-established legends.

We’re so thankful for all of you – the dancers, the venues, and the artists who’ve blessed us with their exceptional music. Swipe left for a few snapshots of the magic we’ve created together this year! Here’s to an even bigger and better 2025 for everyone.

So whatever you’re up to tonight, have a mint time, stay safe, and look after each other – it’s fu***ng pi***ng it down!

Big shoutout to the uber-talented for the amazing artwork 🎨🙏🏻.

Big ❤️,
