Meet Mark & Pablo, two vinyl-obsessed selectors who’ve been slinging House and Techno since the early 2000s . No USBs, no sync buttons—just wax, crackles, and the occasional misplaced needle drop.
Back in the 2000s, these two hosted the ultimate afterparty gaff Instead of a sensible kitchen, they built a full-blown club—complete with Technics, a Gemini 3-channel “crackle special” mixer, and an open-door policy for any gurning raver who could still manage a head bob. Sundays? Think marathon DJ sets spanning breakbeat, electro house, tribal grooves, proper UK tech house, and whatever else kept the walls from caving in.
By 2008, they figured they might as well make some tunes too. Their debut landed on Berlin’s Peon label, with the track Bokor catching the ears of Dr. Motte and sneaking into the DJ download top 100. Later, they dropped S***k! on Scottish indie label Opto before settling into their spiritual home on Mexican imprint Zotz Recordingz.
Fast forward to now: they’ve just launched Digs’n’Jigs Records and hold it down as residents of Waves Collective in Berlin. Basically, if you like your music deep, groovy, and pressed on wax, these are your guys.
