We’re off! 👋

We have absolutely loved making incredible, authentic Mexican food and the best cocktails in town for you guys over the past year. However, its just not possible to operate at the moment with such extreme staff shortages.

We’re leaving on a good note though with a great reputation, five star reviews across every platform and lots of love from everyone who has visited.

We’re looking at options for what we can do in the future but for now its adiós and thank you to everyone who ate, drank and partied with us, it was fun while it lasted!

Big thank you to everyone who made it down yesterday for our fish taco pop up. We sold out in 2 hours!

Was so nice to see some old faces and a few new ones. Some great food and as always some banging margaritas 🇲🇽

If you know a chef that's passionate and wants to learn how to make authentic, high quality Mexican food then send them our way!

We make everything from scratch, like this Roast Potato Pipián. The sauce is made from 3 different types of chillies, blackened tomato, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. It's an absolute belter and 100% vegan friendly too 🌱

We are looking for staff so we can get back open again.

Chef needed. No experience with Mexican food necessary as full training will be given but you will need to be passionate about food, willing to learn and enjoy speaking to people.

You will be working with high quality ingredients, authentic recipes and putting together incredible food (we have 5 star ratings on every review platform) so will need to take alot of pride in your work and help us push on to the next level.

🇲🇽 If you're ever in Mexico you need to eat at a 'cocina economica' 🇲🇽

It's usually just a few chairs outside someone's house. There'll probably be the grandmother, mother and kids all pitching in to make food for the local neighbourhood.

Usually there's no menu, just comida del dia / dish of the day. I've visited a ton of these and the food is always way better than the tourist restaurants plus you're putting money directly into the family's pocket instead of some faceless investment fund.

Pollo alcaparrado is chicken in a sauce made with capers. Came with frijoles, rice, plantain, fresh salsas, proper hand made tortillas and a pineapple refresco to drink. 95 pesos and 10 times better than meals in restaurants for double / triple that much.

Maybe we bring that concept back to Tunbridge Wells once a week? Just one dish, make a big batch and invite everyone down for a good feed up?

We've been a little quiet on here for a few days while we've been out of WiFi and travelling. Don't worry we're still researching as much food, tequila & mezcal as possible along the way.

Have been in Sayulita & San Pancho soaking up some sun, making new friends and watching sunsets ☀️

Just got to Mexico City and can honestly say the food scene here is unreal. Would take months to even scratch the surface 🇲🇽

We will be reopening soon but still looking for chefs, baristas, bar staff and anyone else who's friendly, outgoing and passionate about food and drink.

REOPENING SOON! STAFF WANTED!

After a little break, quite a bit of sun and and whole ton of inspiration, we will be reopening in March / April.

We're looking to build the team with chefs, baristas, bartenders and waiting staff. You won't need experience but you will need to be keen to learn, enjoy dealing with people and you will need to be able to work late nights and weekends.

In return you get to learn authentic recipes, speciality barista skills or high end cocktails (whatever your bag is).
