Instep Ballroom & Latin Dance Club

Instep Ballroom & Latin Dance Club Ballroom and Latin American Dance Classes are held on Mondays at Devonshire Avenue Baptist Church. Classes are held every Monday excluding bank holidays.

Instep Dance Club is a friendly and supportive Ballroom and Latin Dance Club with the emphasis on enjoyment. We teach Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba and Paso Doble as well as Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Tango. Over the years Instep has established a diverse client base of beginners and more experienced dancers. Those who have been attending Instep for a number of years often help those who are new,

building a rapport and creating new friendships. Instep specializes in the skills required for a social dance floor and the techniques taught are geared up to teach dancers how to navigate the dance floor in an anti-clockwise direction, and how to navigate around other dancers - not just to learn a routine down one side of the room!

Improvers 8.40 - 9.30 pm

Looking forward to seeing past and present Insteppers at this year’s Christmas American Supper and Social event at Devonshire Ave Baptist Church Hall, Southsea PO4 9ED on Monday 15 December 2025. An hours beginners lesson at 7.30 followed by social dancing till 10.00 pm. Bring some party food but most importantly yourselves! Admission £7.00.

Remember the last Instep class for 2025 will be 15 December 2025 and lessons will recommence on 5 January 2026.
