❤️ THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE SEND-OFF ❤️

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our farewell night at Kon-Tiki. What a night it was.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised almost £1000 to help install a defibrillator at the Golflinks Hotel—something that will genuinely help save lives.

I also want to thank every single member of staff who has worked in the Tiki Bar over the last 5 years. You’ve all played a part in making it what it was. And a special thanks to the team who’ve been with me through this last stretch—Karl, Natalie and Conor—I couldn’t have done it without you.

A massive thank you as well to all of the incredible DJs who played at Kon-Tiki over the years and helped create the atmosphere we became known for. And especially to those who came back to play our farewell night—you absolutely made it one to remember.

I’d also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of the raffle sponsors. Your generosity meant the world to me and played a huge part in helping us raise such an incredible amount for a truly important cause.

To all of our customers—whether you came once or every weekend—thank you for supporting us, for backing the idea, and for bringing the atmosphere that made Kon-Tiki what it was.

If there’s one thing I’d ask, it’s this: please continue to support local businesses. It’s not easy trying something new in hospitality on the high street, and every bit of support matters.

🌴As we get ready for our final night at Kon-Tiki, we wanted to create a really special atmosphere. Over the past 5 years we’ve been lucky to have some incredible DJs play for us, so it only felt right to bring some of them back for one last night of amazing music.🌴

Last orders at Kon-Tiki…One Final Time

After almost five amazing years at the wheel of the Kon-Tiki Boat Bar, the time has come for me to step ashore.

It’s been an incredible journey creating the concept, the drinks, and the vibe—but most of all, it’s been about the people.

Thank you to every single one of you who came down, supported us, and enjoyed everything we had to offer over the years. I’m also hugely grateful to all the staff who have been part of the journey, and especially to my most recent crew who helped me navigate some very stormy seas—Karl, Natalie and Conor, thank you so much.

I’m determined to go out with a bang, so I’d love you to join me on 21st March for one last night at the bar. Come along, have a beer, share some memories, and help us raise money for a fantastic local cause—the Paul Murray Foundation, as we fundraise for a community defibrillator.

We’ll have five of the DJs who’ve been part of the Kon-Tiki story making guest appearances, plus a raffle with some amazing prizes on the night.

I’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible to share a drink, a laugh, and a few memories.

Let’s give Kon-Tiki the send-off it deserves.

As we knew, it wasn't long in coming around but the big week is finally here!

Held in venues between Portrush and Portstewart, from Thursday to Sunday, this years festival has shown great support so far and we cannot wait to see the whole thing come to life!

With a couple of headliners already at maximum capacity, and a few more to follow, anyone thinking about tickets who hasn't pulled the pin yet, be quick because once the venues are full, there's no more can be done to get you in!
