BIRTHDAY FUNGUS 🖤🍄
This weekend marks ONE WHOLE YEAR of The Drunken Fungus!
Honestly, I don’t think we could ever properly put into words what this place has come to mean to us. What started as a mad idea has somehow turned into a little community, full of familiar faces, new friends, ridiculous nights, questionable decisions and some memories we’ll never forget.
Running a small independent bar is not always easy. There have been some very stressful moments, plenty of late nights, and more than a few times we’ve wondered what the hell we were doing 😂 But every time you’ve walked through that door, bought a drink, come to an event, brought a friend, shared a post, recommended us, or simply told us how much you love the place, you’ve reminded us exactly why we do it.
And what better way to celebrate than with a huge double-header weekend? 🍄
SATURDAY - SHAPES RAVE 🪩
We’re throwing a proper DJ night to kick off the celebrations. Big tunes, good vibes and dancing until late.
SUNDAY - DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS 🎸
Then we’re finishing the weekend with an emo & pop-punk party with Dirty Little Secrets, bringing all the nostalgia, singalongs and absolute bangers.
Two very different nights, one very special weekend and the perfect way to celebrate ONE YEAR of The Drunken Fungus. 🖤
To every single person who has supported us over the last year: thank you.
