At Jive Hive Plymouth, showing up alone is normal. Staying that way isn’t.

Thinking about trying dancing but not sure where to start?

We asked our dancers one question…

“What would you say to someone thinking about walking through the doors for the first time?”

The answers usually sound something like:
• “I wish I’d started sooner.”
• “Everyone was far more welcoming than I expected.”
• “You don’t need rhythm, confidence or a partner.”
• “It quickly stops feeling scary and starts feeling fun.”

What a wild night in the Animal Kingdom at Jive Hive.

From zebras to flamingos, chickens to big cats… you all absolutely committed to the theme and made the room look incredible. More importantly, the dance floor was packed with laughter, energy, madness and brilliant dancing all night long.

Huge thank you to everyone who dressed up, danced the freestyle, helped decorate, worked behind the scenes and brought the fun. Nights like this are exactly why the Jive Hive community is so special.

The costumes were chaotic.
The dancing was nonstop.
The atmosphere was something else.

Same again tomorrow night?

What you actually need is to show up once.

From there:
– You’ll be guided every step
– You’ll dance with friendly people (no cliques)
– You’ll leave knowing more than when you walked in

And yes, there’s plenty of freestyle time to just enjoy it.
