I'd like to give a massive shout out to Naomi Hutchison for stepping in & doing a brilliant job on hosting our Karaoke last night. Due to Disco Jim being ill, Naomi was out for her Birthday & was determined to sing on the Karaoke, she ended up hosting it for us & got the place bouncing, the Bar was very busy & we wouldn't have coped without her. Thank you very much & a very Happy Birthday to you 🥰 We're already looking forward to her coming back to host more nights 😊🌟🎤🎶

The toilet damage is all fixed now 🐈‍⬛🙀😿 IYKYK

Diageo Quality Team has been in today & gave us a fantastic review for the Quality & Standard of our Guinness 🍺🥳

This weekend it's Karaoke as per normal on Friday (Abbie) & Saturday (Disco Jim) 🎤🎶

Our Quiz Night is approaching soon & we've had a few questions regarding the quiz...You don't need to book a table, just turn up on the night. Teams are 1 - 4 (we'll accept 5). The Bar Tab of £100 is valid for 4 weeks, doesn't need to be spent on the night. Alison hosts the quiz voluntarily so the more the merrier & the banter is a must, she loves putting u in your place, all in good fun 🧠❓💷

So this is the damage for this weekend in the ladies toilet. After speaking with experts there's absolutely no chance that this was caused by just sitting on the toilet. The cistern is attached to the wall with 1 pipe leading into the toilet for the flush & the toilet is fixed to the floor away from the cistern.

Possibilities are someone has put there whole body weight onto the cistern, pulled themselves up using the cistern as a support, they've climbed up & stood/sat on top of the cistern or maybe something else but I dare say we'll never know.

This has caused water flooding, damaged pipework, the floor is soaked it's possible flooring will need to be replaced, water needed to be switched off at the mains causing us to close early on a Sat night which resulted in loss of earnings for the business & hours cut for staff, emergency call out for a plumber on a Sunday, staff on stand by not knowing if they could get into work to clean or open up as usual coz we've no water which ended up having a delay on opening on Sunday with more loss of earnings for the business & staff 🤷🏼‍♂️

It might feel like I'm just moaning but I just think people need to know what we're up against on trying to run a small business!

1 last thing tho that has to be said is I've got a brilliant team of staff who are right there to help & assist me AND some amazing locals who chip in to help in anyway they can😊🌟🍻

I was very hesitant on posting this but thought why not I've something to say so I'll say it but I'll be polite about it...

I'm unsure why anyone would find it acceptable to pick & rip the material off our seats. People climbing on the seats bursting the material or piercing holes with high heels. We try to make the place look nice (which costs money) for you 🫵🏻 & you get numerous people thinking it's acceptable to vandalise our property.

I understand it can be a drunken moment of madness & accidents do happen but my questions are...
Would you do this to your own property?

Would you like this done to your property by someone else?

Stop 🛑 & Think 💭

Have a little bit of respect for others & mainly have a bit of respect for yourself.

We welcome everyone into the Station but if you're going to vandalise/damage our property in ANYWAY at all please don't bother coming, you're not welcome 👊🏻🤬
