Ok, Question of the day.. What time do you normally 'call it a night' when you're out nowadays?. Reason for asking is because we're noticing a distinct change around the age group of people out on a Saturday night after a certain time. For example, from midnight to 1am we can guarantee that 90% of the people arriving at the front door will be between 20-30 years old. From 1am to 2am the average age rises - say upto 40. The one age range that's conspicuous by their absence in this 2 hour window is the is the 18-21 age group - traditionally the 'backbone' of the clubbing industry - this age range would be the ones still in the clubs at the 3am finish whilst the 'older crowd' would have long gone by mid night!! Something is changing and we can't quite put our finger on it!!

Sunday 27th September between 12pm and 7pm some of Peterborough's finest bands are gathering at Peterborough's Met Lounge to pay tribute to one of the most loyal and consistent supporters of the local music scene, a beautiful & well liked lady, Clare Ratcliffe.

Clare sadly passed away on 20th June this year after bravely fighting breast cancer since 2022.

Clare will be greatly missed and it is testament to her character that some of the finest local musicians have agreed to come together to pay tribute to Clare in a way that she would have loved.

Austin Gold, 2012, The Dizzy Miss Lizzys plus more to be announced will be performing.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK to raise vital funds.

This is going to be a very special afternoon and not to be missed.
