Typical Responses About Our Wedding Entertainment. One happy couple asked to remove the Poor option, slide Good and Average down the list and insert Brilliant before or after Excellent. The Bride and Groom allegedly argued about where Brilliant should go. I'm just pleased they had a great day as usual. Lost the cake knife and had to pretend we were going to use a Swiss Army Knife but 'somehow' managed to find the real cake knife. Only second time that someone had nipped home and brought in a knife from home. I didn't realise my acting skills were good enough to convince people that we had actually misplaced the cake knife. FIRST 2018 BOOKING - Pleased that Becky & Paul have selected me to provide the entertainment for their wedding guests in 2018. Its my first 2018 date booked up and if you or anyone you know is looking for a DJ for a wedding or a celebration party like a birthday or retirement then I still have a few dates available in 2016 & 2017

Paul complained I was too cheap - work that one out! They wanted a wedding party with lots of Fun - I can do that!

PRAISE INDEED
Without having a big head I am used to happy people after their weddings telling me how much they enjoyed themselves but I received this with about 4 months to go and I'm humbled;

I want to give you a huge thank you for everything you are doing for our wedding. You have taken away a colossal amount of stress and worry from my shoulders. I was so happy after our last meeting and had a grin from ear to ear about the plans ahead. Before meeting you at the Wedding Show in Spalding I had never heard of the services you are providing us on our special day and you are really pulling the whole thing together for us in a way that I could never have imagined. I was so excited and even though you suggested we keep everything quiet so none of the magic would be lost on the day I just had to tell my Mum and my sister a little of what was to come. Both were amazed as neither of them had come across someone like you before.

I now know why Andrew and Mel praised you so highly. I cannot thank you enough! I’m even more excited about getting married than I thought could be possible

I am so relaxed. And this is because of you. You are worth every penny that we are paying you and if I dare say it, I think we must have a terrific bargain. No one else offered us entertainment that went anywhere near you, plus you have become a famiy friend. I am so happy that you will be a part of our special day.

The great ideas and choices mentioned throughout our meeting are wonderful. We are busily working through the homework. The large list of music suggestions for the various special dances has been so helpful

All prep done and I'm ready for a long day with Sylvia & Bogdan and all their friends. They don't want a quiet day with boring periods so we have a full day prepared with games, fun quizzes and loads more to entertain everyone. Got one or two great surprises including a special video message for them that I'm really pleased to have sent to me. Bogdan has chosen some terrific music to play while we wait for Sylvia to arrive and his code tune to indicate she is with us will bring a smile to everyone's face

TIP THAT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH WEDDINGS OR CELEBRATION PARTIES:- Borrowed or rented a car or van and you pull into the service station to refuel before handing it back and you think "Damn, which side is the filler cap on?" Many, but not all, modern cars have an arrow indicator incorporated into the fuel gauge that shows which side the filler is on. There was an old story once that the pump handle on the pump symbol indicated the side of the filler however this did not work correctly for so many vehicles it was debunked some time ago. Wonderful day spent yesterday in Huntingdon with John & Sita who are wakening up today as Mr & Mrs Allison. They wanted a fun day with lots of laughter and they and their guests got it. They requested lots of cheesey music for the evening dancing party including The Birdie Song, Big Fish Little Fish, Hokey Cokey and more. We were also instructed to name and shame anyone who requested Justin Bieber. They certainly knew what made their family & friends tick because we had a dance floor with lots of laughing and giggling people. They booked us for the whole day from 2pm and are still not convinced that we didn't somehow fiddle the brides mother winning both games of bingo. Yes- bingo. Sita wanted a non pretentious day with a strong emphasis on fun and ensuring no one was allowed to be bored so party games abounded. There was an extended Mr & Mrs game that had both sets of parents up and John's grandparents. We all had a laugh with grandma constantly telling grandad he had got it wrong and correcting his answers. In the who's bottom is this game our blindfolded bride felt her way up and down the collection of bottoms offered out to her - 4 times, in her attempt to identify which backside belonged to her new husband. She said she was looking for the fattest wallet. Considering John was the thinnest guy in the group it should have been an easy task to identify him but who did she pick - her dad! Amongst all the fun I should mention the complaint we received during the evening dancing session. John's cousin Malcolm from Sheffield asked for 10 mins of slow tunes because he was "knackered" having spent a continuous 55 mins partying and doing all the actions to YMCA, I'm a little teapot and more. He even offered £20 to buy the 10 mins. We went public on his offer which turned into a bidding war with the Benidorm table collective £50 winning bid ensuring we carried on with the fun. The £50 is going to next week's Children in Need. During my meetings with John & Sita I had made a suggestion about an emergency box of flip flops to be placed next to the dance floor in case someone should drop a glass. You women love to dance in bare feet. 10.20pm and it was used much to everyone's relief. No cut feet. Sitas father had made a lovely wooden box, engraved with their names and the date, and John & Sita had to visit both Poundland and Poundshop to get the 15 pairs of Flip Flops they wanted. A huge thank you to them for allowing us to be a part of their day and to their family and friends who were up for anything we asked of them. Someone passed a glass around and we got a very large tip which was unexpected but left a smile on this old face. It was full of banknotes and 2p. I wondered if the 2p came from Malcolm.
