Just a wee reminder from us at The Ugly Duck 🖤

We are a small independent business run by real people, not robots. We will never claim to be perfect and sometimes mistakes happen.

What matters to us is how situations are handled. If something goes wrong we will always do our best to listen & apologise where needed and deal with things fairly and professionally 🤝🏻

We also believe in being transparent. We don’t mind difficult conversations or answering complaints publicly when needed because we genuinely try to be fair and reasonable with people.

What we won’t tolerate is abuse, aggressive behaviour, spammed comments, digs, threats or online pile ons.

Kindness and humility cost absolutely nothing and we think the world could do with a bit more of both these days ✌🏻

We’re proud of the community and clientele we’ve built over the years. Good people who come in for a laugh, good food, entertainment & a welcoming atmosphere. That’s the kind of environment we’ll always continue to protect for both our staff and customers 👏🏻

If anyone ever has an issue, concern or complaint, our inbox, phone lines and emails are always open and we’ll always try our best to help where we can 🤍

People generally get a lot further with complaints when they approach situations calmly and respectfully rather than with anger… unless you get your kicks out of being raging online but that’s on you 😅

Yesterday Angela celebrated her TWENTY TWICE birthday the only way The Ugly Duck knows how with absolute scenes 🤣🎤💃

Jane Henderson had the whole room going with mass singalongs, dancing on chairs, hands in the air and pure feel good chaos from start to finish 💃🏼

These afternoon parties have honestly become some of our favourites 🫶🏻 great people, great music and everybody just out to have a brilliant time.

Our function suite is available for afternoon parties as well as evenings! Birthdays, baby showers, celebrations, christenings, you name it 👏🏻
