AN UPDATE ON OUR LAST POST 🦆

One of the two women involved has been in to apologise & the other has messaged to apologise and said she will pay.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable but we do appreciate the accountability shown since.

A lot of people have asked why we covered their faces. We understand people make mistakes & while that doesn’t excuse stealing we don’t want this turning into a public pile on.

We can hold people accountable without humiliating them.

They know who they are. Their group knows who they are and people who know them personally will recognise them. That’s enough for us 👏🏻

We’re a small family run business working hard to give Paisley somewhere people can enjoy. Local businesses need your support and respect 💯 We shouldn’t have to worry about being stolen from while welcoming people through our doors!

SO WE HAD A COUPLE OF THIEVES IN LAST NIGHT!🤬

These two were customers downstairs before heading up to our function suite to use the toilets. On their way out they then decided to go behind the bar and help themselves!!

We’re a small family run business. We work hard and put everything into keeping The Duck somewhere people want to come.

Stealing from us is appalling and having one too many is absolutely no excuse!

Everyone’s quick to moan about Paisley but there are local businesses working their backsides off to give people somewhere fun, welcoming and safe to enjoy themselves. Businesses all around are struggling and we’re repaid with this behaviour?!?!

They were actually dancing about the function suite buzzing with themselves! 🤬

To everyone who supports us and treats our staff and pub with respect- thank you & we appreciate you ❤️

To these two: We were going to offer you the chance to come back and pay for what you took but on second thought YOU’RE BARRED & we’ve shared it to Paisley pub watch so every other pub owner can see it too.

We know exactly who you are and we shouldn’t have to write a Facebook post to explain that stealing is wrong!!
