Happy new year troops, we’ve got the first mix of 2023 for you to get your teeth into.

Number 31 is courtesy of Dean aka ‘SPDY’ who is a hard techno & Hard Dance artist hailing from Ayrshire.

He started his journey a few short years ago as a versatile DJ where he mainly performed in commercial bars and clubs, playing anything from House & Trance to Old Skool dance and rave tunes.

This was quickly moved aside when he decided to focus on his main passion, techno. Since then he has supported a variety of DJs across a number of settings.

More recently he has been focussing on his production work where he released his first track ‘Music Maestro’ and is working on a number of other tracks that are yet to be released.

Full pelt face melters from SPDY for the duration of the mix, strap in!

We have another tasty mix coming your way for some midweek entertainment.

Spinning the tunes for entry 30 is Bash Man, a DJ based in Glasgow known for his fast mixing techniques and record collection crossing the harder essence of cuts for the dance floor. Determined to bring maximum jack to the box - Bash blends house and techno of all varieties seamlessly, and with one ear placed in the past and one directed to the future

Well versed in the Scottish scene - you can catch Bash through the monthly party Rush in Glasgow alongside mi$$ cosmix. Alongside this Bash causes mayhem further afield through in Edinburgh across a variety of venues.

As well as the Pressure halloween party you may have seen Bash opening for a variety of acts like Varg, D Carbone, Cardopusher and Paranoid London.

Good evening troops, with the nights getting darker we have the perfect mix to set the vibe for the upcoming months.

Bringing the heat for entry number 29 we have co founder and resident ILL ADVISED ⚔️⛓

He first started DJing at 16 but initially gave it up. It was until the first lockdown where he rediscovered his passion for mixing and bought another set of decks.

Now playing under the alias “ILL ADVISED” he aims to provide hard hitting industrial techno at fast bpms but whilst dipping in and out of other genres such as trance. Recently he has be learning to produce his own tracks which you can expect to hear in the coming months.

⚡️Artist Spotlight ⚡️

Ahead of next week’s show with .666 we wanted to introduce our next guest who will be on support duties with us.

Edinburgh based has forging a reputation of late in the capital’s techno scene as a formidable DJ and producer.

The team member has released some outstanding tracks on well renowned labels such as Carouse, BASSEHT and Kluster.

His signature style of hard hitting and high energy has seen him become a regular face for the Overground Raves in Edinburgh.

Jon’s talent is well recognised as he has supported the likes AISHA, Mark Broom and SNTS. You can catch him supporting Paula Temple for Nightvision in October.

It’s been a hot minute since we last added to our mix series but our desire to showcase local talent has gone nowhere!

Bringing in entry number 27 we have bringing an hour of hard and gritty UK club music spanning multi genres.

Danny Mad - civilian name Daniel Madden - is a purveyor of hefty tunes and sh*te patter. Danny is one of the founders of glasgow based record label Hang Tough, a social enterprise that donates its profits to charities and local music initiatives. He is also a Hyperdome resident, a label that favours the fast and tough end of the music spectrum. This mix provides a flavour of the type of tunes Danny favours. It is a bit hard, a bit wonky, a bit self indulgent, but all the while remaining club focussed. Enjoy this hour of low frequency bias.
