⚔️HEALTH UPDATE⚔️

My CT scan from back in June is all good and I have been cleared for normal life again!

There is a small anomaly that they're not concerned about but I will be having a followup in December just to make sure it's all good.

Your favourite power and folk metal DJ valiantly fought the M1 and came out victorious!

A bit of a personal post.

My dear Grandma passed on 5th August after a short illness, and one of her final wishes for her passing was donations to go to Hull Animal Welfare Trust, an animal shelter that was close to our hearts.

If you could spare anything at all, I would really appreciate any donation to this cause. All monies will go directly to the charity, I won't see a penny of it.

Bloodstockers, you’ll have noticed price increases in some VIP packages that go on sale this morning. Due to increased costs from our accommodation suppliers, we’ve had to adjust prices on select VIP ticket tiers that include luxe accommodation. This bigger increase than usual applies only to these specific packages - standard tickets and other VIP options are unaffected.

To be clear: none of this increase is being kept as profit by the festival this year - it’s a direct pass-through of the higher costs we’re being charged. We have always strived to keep Bloodstock good value. We know price increases are never welcome and wanted to be transparent with you about the reason.

This is SO frustrating, and now I need to vet every song I've not heard before JUST IN CASE I inadvertently play something AI generated.
The power, folk, and pagan metal scene is FULL of talented artists and I want to support those hard working people by playing their songs, not some AI generated slop...

⚔🤘WHAT A COMEBACK THAT WAS! 🤘⚔

Thanks to EVERYONE who came down last night and enjoyed the air con, I mean, came down to Raise Your Horns and enjoyed the night that almost wasn't!

I am SO glad to be back, I did get emotional a few times because this time 12 weeks ago I was doped up on morphine getting ready to be taken to a ward for monitoring after a serious accident (more details on a previous post if you want to know more). It is genuinely such a privilege to be able to DJ again and to share the music I love with you all.

As usual, I have got the track listing into a nice little Google Doc for you all, and there are screenshots below for your viewing pleasure. Plus a cheeky couple of photos at the end for those die hard Raise Your Horns fans 👀
