We’ve grafted for 6 months to find a investor to launch

We’ve received feedback from multiple investors and experts and have had to rethink the proposition we’re making, find experts to support us with the pre/post opening of the venue and re-build our pitch deck to create more of an attractive proposition, reducing the risk and cost associated with building one hell of a venue 🙌

And here it is. Our latest pitch deck, version 345678 😂

The main changes:

- We’ve partner with to deliver the project. They’re experts within the sector and can support us in areas we lack

- We’re fitting downstairs only with the kitchen upstairs to reduce costs associated with the build.

- Over the last few months, I’ve been asking individuals if they would back us in a crowd fund and we’ve had an incredible response. We’re using that as a perk for investors, reducing the risk and allowing our biggest fans to purchase food, drink and events to help # us open.

It’s exciting. It’s also challenging. But it’s going to be worth it.

We’ve been quiet and working on a rehash of the project.

We’ve received a tonne of feedback on our pitch, the concept and we’re in the process of prepping a re-positioned proposal to pitch to our network and some investors that we’re really keen.

This week I’ve had some time off and had the lovely time of checking out Barcelona!

What an awesome place to if your about to open a tapas bar yourself! 🙌☺️

Tried lots of good food and good cocktails and really got some good ideas and some validation on our own food menu! Think we are gonna offer some great ideas! 🤔

Last day today and then home fully recharged and ready to get this pub open! 🙌💪💪🇪🇸

So the other day we probably had one the best meetings we could of asked for! 💪☺️

We had the pleasure of meeting Paul Barham the Co-Founder of and

It was meeting full of hard truths and positive advice! 🤔

We have learnt that we have done everything in hospitality apart from open a new venue before and only now are we realising this could be a c***k in our armour to find an investor for the project!

It’s not all doom and gloom though with these new teachings we are now looking for somebody to join the board possibly who has done that before! 💪

This journey has been hard because you really are always coming up against “You don’t know what you don’t know”

Keeping pushing and gonna keep going! Time is ticking though and we need to get this open asap! 💪🙌

How NOT to launch a Crowdfund Campaign! 🤦‍♂️

shared an article about our concept and our search for an investor, whilst also highlighting our crowdfunding campaign launch that was meant to be launching next week...

We're going to try and raise £100k in 100 hours. Pretty mad right. 🤯

Why are we putting so much stress on ourselves you might ask?

- We've been shouting about our concept for so long, we needed something that might re-ignite everyones excitement for the project
- If you haven't raised 30% of your funds within 72 hours, theres a high chance you wont hit your goal, so we thought 'Let's go for it!'
- It has a nice ring to it 😂

The thing is...the BrewDog Unicorn fund landed on our lap when we were going to go public, you couldn't have written it, and our own crowdfund would have complicated things, so we decided to hold off.

Information we didn't realise until the news was published, but it's definitely something we're going to launch.

So, YES, we are still looking for an Investor for the project... (Shout out to Ben Thomas and the guys at All Things Business Northamptonshire for their support with the project

and YES, we're going to be launching a Crowdfunding campaign,

Just not on the 16th May 🤦‍♂️

We get asked a lot about what makes our pub concept, a ‘Social Pub Venue’, so here we are….

A social pub venue is a concept that combines the best bits of an activity bar such as the games and activities, with the best bits of a pub, such as community events, locally sourced food, theatrical drink and lively atmosphere.

Activity Bars have been popping up in the cities for close to 10 years (Think , ) whilst at the same time, over 7,000 pubs have closed their doors for good in the last 10 years...something isn't adding up.

Why is there not a pub that focuses on the 'Activity' aspect? Focus on keeping and entertaining customers with more than just 'Great Food, Great Drinks and Music'?

What we're about is sharable British tapas and theatrical cocktails with the sole purpose of creating extraordinary social experiences with analog social gaming, like Shuffleboard, Skittles and Beer Pong and focusing on making sure that you're leaving thinking; 'You know what, that was an extraordinary experience I just had!'

We’re currently waiting to find out if we’re in the top 50 of the Unicorn Fund competition which is powered by and we’re mad excited to launch a concept that allows towns all around the country to enjoy a pub venue that raises the bar and focusses heavily on competitive and casual gaming!

We want to start a pub co that the world will thank us for.

What we’ve done so far:
- Planted over 1,800 trees vie
- Supported the prevention of 118 tonnes C02 from being emitted via 38 verified carbon avoidance projects

What we want to do when we’re open:
- Plant a tree for every tapas dish sold
- Improve supply chain emissions from base point
- Zero single use plastics on-site
- Powered with 100% renewable energy (Hopefully solars if we can win the council over)
- Incentivise carbon neutral travel to work by team members and shared rides
- Support British produce in every way we can
- Ensure energy wastage is as minimum as possible
- Offer end of life meal incentives to reduce waste
- Top notch prep and training to avoid unnecessary food waste
- Offer Zero waste infusion drinks created from waste fruit peels to be offered as products

We can’t do much now, but when we open, this is how we’re doing it 👌

We entered the Unicorn Fund where
is investing £5 million in 3 businesses who he thinks are going to become a billion dollar brand…

And we’ve been shortlisted into the top 150 (From 750 applicants!) 🍾

Might even get to go to Vegas to pitch. 🤯

We’re literally hours away from going public with our own crowdfund (The timing is impeccable!) so might put it on pause for a second lol

The amount of support we’ve received is just ridiculous. Thank you so much. 🙏

We’ve had people talk about investing small amounts themselves, people saying they would support a crowdfund and messages of support in finding someone to invest in the project, you lot are bloody amazing.

This week, we’re going to find someone or be introduced to our business partner.

There's definitely a gap in the market for an 'Activity' driven 'Pub' in town centres around the country and we're coining the phrase 'Social Pub Venue' and making it a reality.

We’re starting in Northampton. And it’s going to be epic.

We think British tapas is our key bread and butter for when we open but we damn well want to make sure our brunch is something extraordinary!😋
