Where do we even begin... It's taken us some time to find the right words...

As most of you will be aware of the sad and sudden closure of The Westgate Hotel by now - We still wanted to take the chance to say our bit.

We've known Dai and Gav a couple of years prior to them taking on The Westgate, over this time we've worked with them on a variety of events and have always been proud to be involved in their community. The amount of work they put in behind the scenes is incredible and can only be applauded.

The venue couldn't have been a more appropriate home to Our Chartist Heritage, an amazing space in which local acts of all sizes have been able to bring people back through the famous doors of the Westgate. It's been our pleasure to help provide our expertise and services at so many of these events, and it truly does sadden us to see it come to this.

Newport will come alive with the iconic sounds of the Grammy award
nominated JULIAN MARLEY and his band The Uprising .
The multi-talented Julian Marley is a musician, singer-songwriter, producer and
humanitarian. He is Reggae royalty and encapsulates the spirit of his father Bob
Marley like no other.
Recognized globally as an Ambassador for Reggae, his music transcends
generations and race, With his soulful voice and compelling lyrics, Julian
continues to carry the torch of reggae music to new heights. His performances
are a mesmerising blend of roots, rock, reggae, and are underpinned by the
message of one love and his Rastafarian faith. From small venues to massive
festivals, Julian's charisma and powerful stage presence connect with fans on a
profound level.
Support is provided by Welsh reggae/Ska/Soul outfit Captain Accident, whose

We had a great time at Rodney Parade on the weekend for another pre-match warmup session with Newport City Radio - Providing engineers to assist with on site audio training 👨‍🏫

Jump the Underground absolutely smashed it, we can't wait to work with them later on in the year. Two reunion shows that are set to go off 💥
