World Headquarters WHQ is an Independent, multiracial Nightclub in Newcastle established since 1993. WHQ has an attitude free, girl-friendly, multi racial, block party vibe.

It’s kinda like a really good party in a comfy little secret house... We are truly independent, underground & aim to expose as much diverse music as possible. We spin all kinds of black music & also good records from all other genres too. What we do is a people thing & is a refreshingly credible & cosmopolitan alternative to the City's out-dated, corporate leisure group, stag party type groove. At WHQ, the far out music we are into & the up for it, hands in the air, switched on crowd & communities who come, are the stars. We want everyone who comes here to feel truly uplifted by the music we play. We’re also ridiculous value & are basically half the price of other places & twice as good....
If you’ve never been before, you should give it a try, you’ll be amazed. We're very popular with tourists & visitors to the City, as one of our aims is to create a club in Newcastle that would work just as well in any other city in the world. Feel free to pop along & see us & do please communicate with us if you like. For lost property enquiries, please email [email protected] x

Public sale now open for Bradley Zero b2b Man Power at King Streey Social Club (private community option goes offline at 11.30).

Bradley Zero is our type of DJ. Label boss and party starter, plus an individual who’s HEAVILY invested in the community surrounding this thing we do.
He’ll be joining our own half arsed “man for all seasons”, Man Power, to play back 2 back all night long for his first ever appearance in the hallowed halls of King Street Social Club.

No tiered pricing this time, we’ve kept it at one single figure + booking fee to do this party as a thank you to everyone who’s got behind us for the last 4 years.
Things are simply brilliant right now. and we’re super grateful to everybody for doing that not to make this the reality in our neighbourhood right now.

O'Flynn is back at World HQ this Saturday after a very long time 🌍

The Ninja Tune & Blip Discs artist has been making music heard in clubs including ours since 2015 and he continues to make records for club and festival sets around the UK every year.

From disco tinged sounds to heavier breaks influenced tracks, sets are always a pleasure on the ears and we're chuffed to have him back this weekend.
