Kindly explain to me what it is that new Facebook members are liking about this page? Is this just another meaningless stuffing exercise to make yourselves look busy? We are closed and there's nothing to see here.

Yo yo yo yo yo yo ex-Nectarines. How's it hangin?
Many new bars have since opened in toon since the sad demise of Nectar, but none to quite equal the warmth of our ambiance, depth of our sincerity etc.
If you're out and about and want to pop in to our lovely new venture, a country pub in the Market Square, Ferryhill, Co Durham you will be greeted with open arms. It's 18 miles from the Tyne Bridge, so not as far away as it sounds.
We also do £6.95 Sunday lunches that are a legend already, (seriously...read the long unbroken list of 5***** star reviews) and then you can stick around afterwards for the band that's on every Sunday afternoon at 5.
Like the new pub page, and we'll keep you entertained in a manner similar to that wot which we used to at Nectar, in a way.

The White Horse is in it's exciting second year of new private ownership and still going from strength to strength. Legendary Sunday lunches, entertainments every weekend, breakfast from 10am, lunch from 12 noon every day, afternoon tea, courtyard garden.

I'm going to tell you a story next week. The full explanation as to why Nectar closed, and the story behind the people and events that lead up to it happening. I've been waiting to tell you for a while, and now that time is almost upon us. Watch this space, and if you're one of the guilty ones, expect to be featured in the story.
