It is with heavy heart and through gritted teeth that Block Party at Greys Club is no more!
Starting the party back in 2017 at the relatively unknown venue, we brought together a thousand musically like minded party folk, every Friday, for a proper Disco shakedown with guests such as Mele, Purple Disco Machine, Ben Hemsley, Tibasko, Big Miz & only a few months ago Schak & Sorley, to name but a few…
Themed parties each week, sit down parties in the pandemic and returning in 2021 for weekly roadblocks in the heart of the city; and frustratingly, we were ready for more of the same tonight, and into this Autumn, but sadly it isn’t to be.
The venue have decided to take a different direction, with a local promoter who schemed for a long time to steel the night and strip the party of all its love and energy & replace with a so-called underground music night. We would suggest not visiting the venue in the future, and look for other alternatives for your Friday night sesh, but more importantly stay locked in to our socials for updates on Block Party’s future manoeuvres...
