This special venue (The Orbit at the Afterdark in Morley) opened it's doors in 1991 to host 10 years of groundbreaking techno/electronic music with people queuing round the block week after week come rain or shine to listen to the finest techno to grace the decks with Dj's like Sven Vath, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and Joey Beltram not forgetting the excellent residents John (E-Bloc) Berry, Nigel Wal

ker and Mark Turner.The Orbit was without a doubt the best techno club around but unfortunately the good times couldn't last forever and The Orbit finally closed its doors for the last time on 26th July 2003. The Orbit may have closed in 2003 but years on the club still lives on strong in our hearts and memories.
