After its largest audiences in ten years, Morecambe Bay Fringe is looking beyond the boundaries of a single town. Its 2027 ambition could connect performers, venues and communities from Lancaster to Grange-over-Sands - with the railway becoming part of the festival itself

Record audience figures for the 10th Morecambe Bay Fringe Festival have underlined the potential of the resort as a cultural destination, according to the town’s flagship venue.

Tonight at ReelCinema Morecambe Starting at 7pm prompt, a screening of the Good Soldier featuring our own West end players and Fringe founder Matt Panesh
Followed by Sister Christian 's Variety night at the Kings Arms and a welcome to Hawkwinds Fans for the Friends and Relations Weekender which will close the festival.

Feature starts 6.45pm

A film made by Bentham teenager Matilda Walden and her mum Jayne which premieres at Morecambe Bay Fringe features what Matilda said is genuine UFO footage.

Tonight we head into the Second Weekend of Fringe!!!
Updates to the Morecambe Programme:
Friday 31st July at 9pm Ant Johnson & Tom Owen are replaced by festival favourite Pete Mitchelson for a work in progress of his new show. Pete's shows have been imaginative horror fueled comedy's and we can't wait to see this one!
Saturday 1st August 4.30pm Mark Borthwick will be replaced by festival founder Matt Panesh's reflections of the 10 Fringes tentatively titled A Dick-ade in Morecambe!
