☀️ THE PROM IS OPEN — AND YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU ☀️

You may notice some temporary road closures around the Promenade area today as ITV continue filming scenes for The Bay here in Morecambe.

Whilst we appreciate it can cause a little disruption during half term, productions like this bring fantastic exposure to the town, support local businesses, and showcase Morecambe to millions of viewers across the UK.

Importantly — Morecambe is very much OPEN FOR BUSINESS today.

• Shops, cafés, bars and restaurants are all open as normal
• The Promenade remains accessible to pedestrians
• Parking is still available close to the town centre
• Businesses across Morecambe would love your support this half term

If you’re heading into town today, please do continue to support our amazing local businesses whilst enjoying the buzz of filming taking place around the seafront.
