World MS Day is officially marked on 30 May 💙

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common diseases affecting the central nervous system — the brain and spinal cord. Around 2.8 million people worldwide are living with MS.

Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40, and MS is two to three times more common in women than men.

Some common symptoms can include:

• Extreme tiredness (fatigue)
• Problems with vision or eye pain
• Numbness or tingling in different parts of the body
• Feeling dizzy, off balance or uncoordinated
• Muscle cramps, spasms or stiffness
• Bladder problems or needing to p*e more often
• Difficulties with memory or concentration

World MS Day helps raise awareness, support those living with MS, and encourage understanding of the daily challenges many people face 💙
