Mayhem at Sub 101

Mayhem at Sub 101 A brand new queer alternative music night at Sub 101 in Manchester, held every other Thursday.

Held once a fortnight, Mayhem is a place for everybody in the lgbtq community (and anybody who is happy being around them!) who fancies something a little bit different. We shall provide you with a weekly source of a wide variety of alternative music. You are strongly encouraged to dance, sing, play air-guitar and air-drums, lip sync and just be your fabulous selves! Music played includes (but is

definitely not limited to):
Kate Bush, Bjork, Amanda Palmer, Muse, Green Day, Blondie, The Kinks, Pulp, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Blink-182, Catatonia, David Bowie, CSS, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Garbage, The Hives, Neutral Milk Hotel, My Chemical Romance, Pat Benetar, Meatloaf, Starship, Simple Minds, The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Tyler and a whole sh*t ton more! Selected bombs from 90p, with plenty of other drinks offers including bottle and shot for £2.50

Open 11pm - 4am at Sub 101, 101 Princess Street,
£1 entry before 1am with flyer or guestlist,
£3 without flyer/guestlist and after 1am. Each month we will be collecting for a different charity dealing with LGBT issues, as well as donating a portion of the door takings. For the opening night and throughout the month of November we will be collecting for the Kaleidoscope Trust, a charity that works to promote and uphold LGBT rights throughout the world, especially in the 78+ countries in which LGBT people risk imprisonment or death simply by being who they are.
