This time being held in Manchester’s Northern Quarter at the infamous Eastern Bloc Live. For this special edition, Herbie Saccani celebrates 35 years behind the decks with an extended six-hour all-vinyl journey, tracing house music from its pure foundations through its splintered, evolving genres. This is a slow-burn narrative set—patient and built for heads rather than hype.
There’s a deeper story woven into the night: much of the vinyl played was originally bought by Herbie as a young DJ from Eastern Bloc Records itself. Decades later, those same records return to the building where the journey began. Disconnect isn’t just a club night—it’s history, community, and a love letter to underground house culture, played properly, on vinyl, by someone who’s lived it.

BEN CRAUGHWELL:
At disconnect we like to bring you emerging talent, this guys a real gem. Having had residencies from the age of 16, Ben has earned his stripes in the underground house scene in Manchester. He’s recently branched out into Liverpool and gained weekly disco residency in the Scouse institution BaaBar. A residency which has allowed him the chance to warm up for the biggest names in the game such as Melvo Baptiste (head of music at glitterbox Ibiza). With Ben’s new house label Hosa Recordings seeing his first ep released this summer. He one to watch out for.Ben’s looking to raise the with his closing set at Disconnect on May 5th with jacking house grooves old and new to get all generations dancing.

Here at Disconnect we are all about promoting up and coming talent. Introducing ELODIE ALOIS.
Coming from a family very much steeped in House Music history it was the natural choice for Élodie to cut her teeth as a DJ. From a very young age Élodie has had a fascination with dance music and as a DJ has formed her own unique style, fusing House, Jazz, Rap and Tec House to create a sound that speaks to dance music fans across the generations.
Currently studying Sound Engineering, Élodie also been quick to find her feet in the production world and with 2 original tracks and numerous re-edits already under her belt, plus many more in the pipeline she has already made her mark. Élodie’s productions very much reflect the sound of her DJ sets and with numerous event bookings already in place for 2024 her future is looking very bright indeed.
