Jazz for Dorset and West Hampshire, especially Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown, Wimborne, Colehill, Verwood, West Moors and Ringwood. The club meets from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Mondays at the Bluebird Social Club, 4 Ham Lane, Longham, BH22 9DP, Tel: 01202 570311 (opposite Haskins garden centre). There is ample car parking, a large dance floor and a bar with drinks at affordable prices. Each month we try to feature one national band and one local band. Admission £12 for members, £14 for visitors.

Monday 7th December 2015; The Panama Hat New Orleans Jazz Band performed at the Bournemouth Traditional Jazz Club, starting at 8PM. Dave Lewen played keyboard throughout the evening. A good night of old style jazz.

9th November 2015; The Sunset Café Stompers at the Bournemouth Traditional Jazz Club with fantastic vocalist Hamish Maxwell. Great band and a great evening.

12th October 2015; The Millennium Eagle band gave us a fantastic night. All great musicians and entertainers. A group sitting near to us said this is the best band the club books; they would pay extra just to see them. Here is a sample of their music from just two weeks ago.

13th July 2015; The Amy Roberts / Richard Exall quintet gave us a great performance again. Always good to see such a large audience for this band. They play in a style that is unusual here, e.g. several Earl Bostic numbers. Here is a taster on YouTube:
