Black Tie Ballroom Club Ballroom & swing dancing to period music. At each event, there is a free 30 minute beginners lesson, starting at 7pm.

A monthly meeting place for ballroom and swing dancers to meet, wearing black tie, vintage clothes and elegant and romantic evening dress, to do partnered dancing on a sprung wooden floor and drink and chat in a relaxed setting. The music played is linked to the period of the golden era of the dance, so we'll play mainly twenties music for Charleston, thirties music for quickstep and foxtrot, fort

ies for swing, fifties for jive and so on. We dance to strict tempo, mainly English records and have one set from a strict tempo eight piece dance orchestra and an operatically trained male vocalist singing through the voice trumpet.
