We’re kicking off the anniversary celebrations while also indulging in the World Martini Day 🍸

For the next week we’re serving £10 martinis made with our house gin (that so happens to be distilled at .distillery especially for us, so you won’t get it anywhere else!)

Martini is also one of the drinks that has always been close to our hearts. Whether you like it dry or wet, with an olive or a twist, we got you!

Happy 10th anniversary Merchant House!

It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since we started serving cocktails to the people of the City of London. We’ve had some great times, but also met some obstacles on the way, we’ve known the City pre- and post-pandemic yet we’re still here and there’s no better reason to celebrate!

Starting today, we’re going to be posting a whole lot of specials running for 10 weeks, so keep your eyes peeled and stay up to date.

Happy International Women’s Day!

We’d like to use this opportunity to introduce a brand, a cocktail and the woman behind both. Next week we’ll be kicking off with a special menu followed by a tasting leading up to St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Stay tuned for more details!

In the meantime, meet Cáit Baxter.

Originally from the east coast of Co. Meath, Cáit has now relocated to east Galway to join the team at Ahascragh Distillery. She studied Gaeilge & Gnó in DCU. With a deep passion for all things Ireland, and Irish whiskey being one of the countries main exports, the industry was a perfect fit for Cáit. She has been working in the industry since 2014. Her first job was with the Teeling brothers and the launch of their distillery in the Liberties, Dublin. Since first experiencing the distillation process, she has been enthralled with how a simple, commonly grown grain can produce should a delicate and special product. Since Teelings, Cáit has worked in nearly every facet of the industry; bar, tours, retail, sales, bottling & distilling including the most recent role as Senior Distiller at Di**le Distillery.

The cocktail she’s suggested to us uses Clan Colla 7yo, tangerine, mint and roasted pineapple syrup. You can almost forget it’s still winter around here…
