Dear Sneakers,
What an incredible journey it’s been.
When we started Sneak at XOYO London — in the top room on a cold winter night back in 2012/13 — we had no idea what this night would grow into.
We had a vision.
We had passion.
We had motivation.
And slowly, week by week, that vision grew.
200 people became 300.
300 became 500.
And before we knew it, we were filling XOYO with 1,000 clubbers every single Tuesday — week in, week out.
Sneak was always about more than just a party.
We set out to build a midweek, student, house-music-led night that championed new talent — a space for young DJs to learn their craft, find their sound, and grow.
Along the way, we were lucky enough to help platform many artists who’ve gone on to do incredible things. And of course, our Sneak queen Jess Bays, who grew from our residency into a true household name — something we’ll always be immensely proud of.
After 13 years, the time has come for this chapter to close.
We’ve made the decision not to continue as a weekly resident at XOYO. Our alignment with the venue has changed, and it feels right for us to bow out gracefully, with pride in what we built.
We wish XOYO nothing but luck in its future and rebirth.
To every single one of you who queued, danced, sang, met friends, fell in love, or made memories with us — thank you. Truly.
Sneak may return for the odd one-off or pop-up in the future, but the weekly Tuesday journey has come to an end.
London — you’ve been nothing but a pleasure.
