FAQ
Q. I'm a bit shy. Do I have to speak?
A. No. We take your answers over email so no need to have your microphone on if you don't want to.
Q. How does it work?
A. You will need a PC, Mac or Smartphone with Zoom Video Conferencing installed and something to email your answers with.
Q. How much is it and how do I pay?
A. It’s £3 per player paid via paypal. You don’t need a paypal account to send money without a charge but you will need an account to receive prize money, with a small charge to paypal from your winnings. You can download the app from your app store or log on at www.paypal.com
Q. What are the prizes?
A. Prize money will be awarded from the entrance fees collected and may fluctuate depending on how busy the quiz is. A second place prize will be a £20 gift voucher to spend at The Windsor Castle, SM5 3PT. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the quiz.
Q. How do I enter and is there a limit to the number of team members?
A. Email [email protected] before 7pm on a Tuesday and you will receive instructions how to join and how to pay your entrance fee. You can have as many team members as you like as long as everyone pays £3.
Q. How does the quiz work?
A. There are SIX rounds of FIVE questions with a half time break. You will be shown pictures, videos and music and asked about each one. After each round you email your answers and team name to [email protected] or print off our team sheets and fill them in with a pen and email a picture of your answers to the same email address.
Q. How long is the quiz?
A. Between 60 and 90 minutes depending on how busy it is.
Q. How do you stop people cheating?
A. We’ve done our best to write a new multi media quiz that is as ‘cheat-proof’ as we can possibly make it.
