This club was an amazing Swing and R & B club in London until October 2014. The venue management decided that there was not enough money in it for them to have us there any more, even though they got more than just the bar take. They have to earn money and pay expenses for being there, they have wages and rent to pay.

So, if you love your regular clubs, buy a drink or two from the bar each night and keep the great dancing clubs open. Look after your dancing clubs and keep them going, they are there for you too. xx

It is with deep regret that we have to announce that we only have 2 Saturday Night Swing Clubs left at the Magpie & Stump, Saturday 13th September and Saturday 11th October. Unfortunately, because we are all having too much fun on the dance floor and not drinking enough, the bar doesn't feel it is worth their while staying open to serve jugs of water. We are of course looking for a new home and if you know of any venues please email Caron [email protected] or myself Simon at [email protected] with details. We do plan to go out with a bang so make sure you don't miss any of the fun over our last two parties.
