A secretive launch in late 2007 has attracted top brands to hold parties at the British Luxury Club, the last word in glamour, opulence and, well, luxury! The Hours

The Venue
Now located in its new home at 55 New Oxford Street. Tottenham Court Road, Holborn or Oxford Ci

rcus underground stations are closest, although the patrons invited to join this club are more likely to arrive in a sportscar. Strut forward with confidence and some awfully good connections if you’re planning a night here. The Atmosphere
You absolutely need to be invited to a private function, on the manager’s guest list or invited to join as a member to get in, anything else will only lead to your embarrassment, not theirs! The staff aren’t snotty though – instead they want to bend over backwards to give their members and guests the night of their lives. The crowd is totally A-list: expect titled aristos, the Hollywood elite and London’s classiest social butterflies here. At this hour of the morning they can afford to be choosy, this is one of the few clubs in London that is still aspirational. The Music
The British Luxury Club plays a funky, loud soundtrack of funky house tunes, HipHop and RnB beats, loud enough to keep everyone on their feet once it gets busy, though escaping into one of the nooks and crannies with comfy sofas guarantees enough quiet to sit and talk if that’s your preference. There’s really nothing invasive about the music at all – everything about this place evokes classic British qualities of refinement and dignity. The Drink
Luxury means just that when it comes to alcohol. Top name spirits, including a wide range of cognacs, mean that drinks are pricey but worth it. A wide range of Champagnes are on offer too, topped with a sparkler for the attention seekers ;-)

The Last Word
The British Luxury Club has caused a stir among the A-listers without alerting too much tabloid attention. This is Londons most exclusive after hours members' club. Just remember to clear your diary then next day to recover.
