What better way to celebrate our 10th birthday than by making ourselves the perfect little gift?
We’ve spent the past few months working with the amazing Venetia Berry to create a very special piece of serveware for our new menu launching next month.
The brief was to celebrate the joy and luxury of gathering In Good Company. Luxury used to mean exclusivity. We’d argue it now means sharing in something. A fleeting moment or memory that you become part of with others, either through plans or spontaneously. Where better than the bar to facilitate.
What’s more luxurious than a cocktail that has spent months in development, shaped by the creativity of so many people, and served in a ceramic cup made by hand for this one purpose?
Each cup carries an indent of Venetia’s thumb, an imprint of a moment in time, waiting for you to add your own.
“I wanted to create a ceramic cup that was easy to hold in the hand and satisfying to hold. I’ve pushed my thumb into one area of the cup, so it feels lovely to hold, but it also brings about the idea of memories, sharing time together, and the community and people behind Bar Swift who make it the experience that it is.”
We can’t wait to tell you more about the drink you’ll be enjoying from this lovely little cup. Here’s to making many more memories together over the next ten years and working with many more exceptional creatives!
