The Hoist was possibly London’s most famous gay fe**sh venue, enjoying 21 years of successful business and hosting many large parties and gay niche events until it’s owners decided tog’s out on a high’ at the end of 2016. Only the brand and a few of the parties carry on, with ‘The Hoist’ now sitting as part of Jamie HP’s cruise club portfolio, sometimes as it’s own entity and at others used as a parent to some of Jamie’s harder, dress code or ‘traditional’ fe**sh promotions such as Horse Fair, SIR (S*x in Rubber) Domination Jocks n Socs and in the form of The Hoist presents, especially for marketing purposes on social media. In November 2018 Jamie HP announced plans for a tour of The Hoist brand with more information expected before the end of the year.

Who or What is Jamie HP Events?

Jamie HP is the founding promoter for Jamie HP Events. Jamie HP Events is the umbrella name for our numerous cruise and fe**sh parties we have running in any one month.

The events company came about when Jamie HP (He’s the boss. He loves the cruise and fe**sh scenes) decided to take it upon himself to pull together and host a series of organised parties for his friends and gay Londoners who were fed up trying to organise their own hook-ups or events via Apps or online, taking up valuable time and all to often coming to nothing but frustration. On the whole the parties proved a success, with some trial and error along the way, but at least Jamie’s solution meant guys would have something to look forward to events full of similar thinking guys potentially interested in them. With a small portfolio of successful parties under his belt, Jame went on to acquire some existing promotions and began working closely with others, always ensuring that his club nights remained relevant for todays fe**sh audiences, delivered creatively and in all other areas of production, as well as remaining viable as small business interests that he would continue to nurture and grow.

Celebrating the first anniversary of Jamie HP Events in December 2017, Jamie looked back on the year and concluded that he had offered ‘something for everyone’ - a mantra he world stick closely to in the next 12 months ahead.

With keen interest for Jamie to host his parties at venues all over the UK and abroad, Jamie announced a new series of monthly parties on England’s south coast, in one of the countries most famous gay cities of Brighton & Hove. He has also pledged to restore brand known as The Hoist, a long running and revered fe**sh venue that enjoyed a successful run in London’s Vauxhall across three decades in all. The Hoist will start touring in 2019 and more overseas parties are rumoured to be on the cards.
