So many small businesses and events are closing, we're lucky we have this chance to pivot and still give you a great, fat-friendly experience all under one roof.

But don't wait. Just like the club nights, these are use-it or lose-it events.

Some bitter sweet memories from our last Halloween party.

Being honest, it's taken me until now to go through them. I felt like my heart got wrenched out of my body when I realised we just couldn't keep club nights going with so much pressure from venues.

Every now and then I have to remind the whole community that Indulge, and plus size events in general are a use it or lose it commodity. We don't get funding, we get passed over for business and arts grants, being fat isn't a sexy protected characteristic because we can just...lose weight, right?! We're a drain, if anything 😤

So when a community goes quiet, when it's only the same 5 or 6 people saying anything, you begin to wonder if there's any point in carrying on at all.

I know I'm not the only small business owner fighting to keep a really nice, lovely, community FAT CENTRIC event alive. But please..say hi. Talk. Chat. Come to our facebook group or WhatsApp chat, but I can't do anything for a load of lurkers 🫥
