Radio Invicta 92,4 This is the official Facebook tribute: Radio Invicta - Europes first all soul station. Operating from 1970 to 1984 Invicta was the pioneer.

Being the first all-soul station in London - may were to follow, but Invicta was the first. Many dj's was first on Invicta. Household names as Pete Tong, Giles Peterson, Steve Walsh, Steve Devonne, Chris Hill and many many more.

Birthday greetings to ROBBIE VINCENT turning 80 today.
Thanks for many years of great music on the airwaves, and lately also streaming.

Back in 1977 when Robbie first got his show on Radio 1... this was of course a big event for Radio Invicta too. Just because that was the "slogan" for our station.
Campaign for a soul show on national radio.
