Amara wears red the week of every big presentation. It’s her tradition. This year it’s deeper and glossier, to match the lipstick she’s been saving.

Naomi starts her new job on Monday and wants to walk in polished without saying a word. A shimmer French, the quiet kind. She’s been a regular for years and the order never changes.

Mika and her partner are celebrating five years tonight, and she wanted her hands to be the detail he notices first. Black French tips with crystals: sharp, a little unexpected, a bit of sparkle for the candlelight.

Her out-of-office is on and her flight is Friday. Delphine’s order: “everything I’m packing, in a set.” Leopard for the nights out, turquoise for the sea, gold stars for luck.
