A new week and two very different evenings to look forward to at LJC. 🍷🎶

THURSDAY | NEW WORLD RED WINE TASTING 🍷

This Thursday we’re taking a voyage through the world of New World Reds, with six carefully selected wines to discover from regions including California, Chile, Argentina and South Africa.

Our tasting evenings are relaxed, informative and always great fun, whether you know your wines or simply enjoy a good glass of red!

🎶 PERFORMANCE RECAP | LEWIS KILVINGTON TRIO 🎶

What a fantastic evening we had at Lincoln Jazz Café last night! ❤️

The Lewis Kilvington Trio brought their Essence of Django performance to our little stage, filling the café with brilliant gypsy jazz, swing and incredible musicianship.

Lewis and the trio were absolutely superb from start to finish, and judging by the reaction in the room, our audience loved it just as much as we did.

There’s something very special about experiencing musicians of this calibre in such an intimate setting, just a few feet away from the stage. 🎸✨

A huge thank you to Lewis Kilvington Trio for a wonderful performance and to everyone who joined us and made it such an enjoyable Sunday evening.

Another brilliant night of live music at LJC. ❤️🎶

Our original allocation was almost completely snapped up, so if you missed out or have been meaning to book, this is your chance to join us.

As you can see from the video, Amber Ackerman Quartet absolutely brought the house down last night!

A fantastic set from Amber and the band, and judging by the reaction in the room, our audience loved every minute of it.

This Friday, 28 August, the wonderful Kelly Ann joins us for an evening of live music spanning some of the best-loved songs from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

Expect beautiful vocals and timeless favourites inspired by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Vera Lynn and Dusty Springfield, alongside soulful classics and reimagined modern favourites.

Lewis has sent us a quick video to tell you a little more about Essence of Django and what you can expect when the Lewis Kilvington Trio takes to the Lincoln Jazz Café stage this Sunday.

Inspired by the legendary Django Reinhardt, expect fiery gypsy swing, dazzling guitar work, virtuosic solos and irresistible rhythms, all capturing the spirit and vintage charm of 1930s Paris with a fresh, modern energy.
