We probably shouldn’t be telling you this but…👀
We’ll spill the beans on one condition, don’t tell everyone. Those of us who know quite like keeping this one to ourselves. 🤫
In bars Saturday is traditionally the big night. Friday has always been the more relaxed night.
But if you don’t work in hospitality, you might not realise just how different the two nights are.
And that’s exactly why Friday is one of our best-kept secrets.
If you don’t know, you might walkk into your favourite bar at 8pm on a Friday expecting Saturday energy and think…
“It’s different in here tonight?”
Compared with Saturday? It probably is.
That’s Friday.
But give it half an hour and you’ll understand why Fridays are actually one of our favourite nights of the week.
There’s still a buzz, it’s just a different kind of buzz.
It’s after-work drinks that turn into staying all night. Date nights. Catch-ups. Great music, a good atmosphere but you can get a seat and get to the bar quickly! (Plus more drinks offers in Lichfield too. 👀)
You have time to hear about the bartender’s latest drama. You come in for one drink and somehow end up telling us about your break-up. 😂
There’s just more time to actually chat, with us, with your friends, and apparently with half the bar by the end of the night. 😂
And at Le Rêve something happens on our Fridays that we rarely see in quite the same way on a Saturday…
Our regulars take their usual spots. New faces get chatting to them, strangers become friends and then people who’d never met before end up arranging to meet back here next Friday.
And before you know it, you’ve ended up in that fond little place we call… a regular.
It’s become a little Friday community.
Maybe that’s the bit nobody tells you. Friday and Saturday aren’t two versions of the same night out. They’re two completely different nights out, and we think more people would choose Friday if they knew what they were choosing.
