Weekend Bar Staff

Location: The Loft Bar, Leicester

Hours:

* Friday and Saturday evenings
* Sundays during Bank Holiday weekends
* Additional weekday shifts from September onwards when the student season begins

About the Role

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and energetic Bar Staff to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has great customer service skills and thrives as part of a team.

Initially, you’ll be working Friday and Saturday nights, plus Sundays on Bank Holiday weekends. From September, when the student season returns, you’ll also be expected to work some weekday shifts as part of the rota.

Responsibilities

* Serving drinks quickly and efficiently
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Operating the till and handling payments
* Keeping the bar clean, tidy and fully stocked
* Checking customer ID and following Challenge 25 procedures
* Assisting with opening and closing duties
* Working as part of a team to create a fun and safe atmosphere

Requirements

* Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be provided.
* Must be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Must be available to work weekends and additional weekday shifts from September.
* Applicants must be 18 years or over.
