Set times for next Saturday - We wanted to post these early so you can all plan out your day, we want to encourage everyone to come down as early as possible and make a proper day / night of this, as these sort of parties only come around every once in a while, its going to fly by, we’re expecting an amazing turnout already. 🥳

The music is going to be absolutely on point all day and night, all the DJs have been digging hard for this one. 🎧

Warren Cahill will be kicking things off with a live performance at 3pm - So we will be gathering early to see him and have a few drinks. We’re rolling into the legendary scratch DJ - formally known as Barefoot Raver delivering a special old school hip hop set before we move onto the house & techno for the rest of the day / night.

We are excited to announce a free party to celebrate 20 years of Dirty Disco with all the original resident DJ’s, the ones that were there at the start.💫

These are some of the best DJs we know or seen ever over the years, proper tunes, proper music. If you were there you remember!

There was an amazing community of friends in Leeds that we had when all these DJs were playing in the late 00’s that made the whole era so special. ✨

We want to invite you all to a very special party at one of our old regular haunts, Distrikt Bar Leeds, for a FREE all day and night event.

Also a special guest appearance from the legend Warren Cahill - to kick things from 3pm. So get down early

DD PODCAST 012 - FOZ - MID NOUGHTIES MINIMAL VINYL MIX

20 YEARS TODAY SUNDAY 1st MAY 2005 WAS THE 1st EVER DIRTY DISCO

To celebrate I’ve finally got round to recording this mix, I’ve been planning to it for a while, its a masterpiece if i do say so myself, when Dirty Disco started CDJs were starting to take over so I did buy a few records around this time but like everyone kinda stopped buying vinyl. However in lockdown I got a bit addicted to buying from around 2004-2007 in lockdown and tried to collect all the best tracks from when Dirty Disco started and found some right gems and random b sides and thought it would be good to bring it out with it being our 20th year and bringing it out on the day it started seems like the perfect day and the sun is shining beautifully today!

So it’s a bit of a long one, just under 5 hours, good after party tackle. Especially on a sunny day and bank holiday ahead of us it’s all vinyl and some are a bit old so a few skips, jumps, crackles.

Recorded live in MiNT Warehouse on a cold Tuesday night so big shout to Lewis Smart and Will Gibson for spending 5 hours with me letting me do that also.
