Fortynine is a club night covering house, electro, disco and everything in between! We host regular parties at The 212 Cafe and Bar and Distrikt, featuring our resident DJ trio Forrest Road Soundsystem alongside local guest DJs and headliners. Over the years we have played host to such guests as Burnski, Demarzo, Skatebård and Swales. Our story

Fortynine is an up-and-coming club night focusing on the finest underground electronic sounds on offer. From house, disco, electro, breaks and garage, we cover something for all tastes with varied line ups at some of Leeds’ best loved venues. Our parties at Distrikt have included headliners such as Burnski and Swales, with more events at the Leeds house music hotspot in the works. Our most permanent home is at The 212 Café & Bar where we hold bimonthly Thursday and Friday residencies showcasing the best talent from the Leeds area and beyond, including PIV records maestro Demarzo at our 2019 Halloween special. All our parties feature our resident DJ trio Forrest Road Soundsystem, playing individually or as a three, they bring their own contrasting musical tastes together to bring a unique vibe any dancefloor.

In November 2019 we joined forces with friends and fellow promoters Material and LSMix to form LMF. As a group we went on to bring Dekmantel headliner and panorama bar regular Skatebard to Sheaf Street for his Leeds debut. This was our biggest and most anticipated event to date and paves the way for future parties as part of LMF, or working alone as Fortynine - keep your eyes and ears peeled!
