Originated in Japan, saké has been produced for over 1,000 years using rice, water, yeast and koji mold which converts starch into sugar

Saké is a favourite here at PCL. With 3 very different options to choose from, there’s something that’s bound to tickle your fancy.

Akashi-Tai Umeshu Plum (Left)
- Rich ume plum & cherries, perfect for sherry & port enthusiasts

Akashi-Tai Ginjo Sparkling (Middle)
Fresh & clean rice wine bubbles with a rich finish

Akashi-Tai Yuzushu (Right)
- Zingy yuzu citrus, refreshing with a kick

Served in traditional Japanese saké bottles ‘Tokkuri’ which then is poured into small cups ‘Ochoko’

🍶 It’s customary in Japan to pour sake for others rather than for yourself.
