We're rocking out in deep farmland!

This weekend we've threw a load of kegs in the van and headed out to Farm Yard Ales, just outside of Lancaster for their first FYA music festival!

We set up our ol' faithful Poison bar in their brewery and have been slinging out our cocktails and wetting palettes all weekend!

We've had some fun playing with some freshly whipped up creations as well as our classic core 3.

We gotta say, the vibe here is amazing. This small, eclectic festival has got super friendly, groovy vibes and the beer is absolutely on point 👌

As for the weather... We were blessed 😊

So, sometimes life's a real peach, right?

Sometimes we just yearn for sunshine, beaches and release from busy, frantic lives.

Luckily we canned all of the above, and blimey don't it taste good.

Life is Peachy is probably our best selling cocktail here at Kickass and it's easy to see why!

Let's break it down:

• Peachy Rum
• Lemon Curd Liqueur*
• Vegan Honey**
• Peach Queen Sencha Green Tea Blend

*With vegan butter 💛
** A reverse engineered honey - basically a thick syrup with floral botanicals 🤙

Think *Grown-ups orangeade* 🍊

Then imagine that grown-ups orangeade getting blasted by a sustained dose of Godzilla's nuclear breath. We're not joking.

Proper massive juicy, fresh orange flavours unmistakably backed up by earthy, smokey layers from Rooibos tea, a deep rich host of herbal and spicy notes and roast, candied orange offering a caramelised, zesty finish.

Let's break it down:

• Roast Orange Vodka
• Snake Oil Sweet Vermouth*
• Juicy & Zesty Orange Syrup
• Organic Rooibos Tea

*Snake Oil is made for us by Whitewood Distilling Co. and a truly stand-out sweet vermouth. Really fun to play with in mixed drinks! 🐍

Imagine grandma's liquor cabinet fell in a bucket, and turned out tasting hip-tingingly great.

Well we managed to successfully reverse engineer that bucket's top secret ingredients.

And here they are (it's a need to know basis by the way, and you need to know) DON'T TELL ANYONE.

• Violet Dry Gin
• Sherry Blend (Amontillado/ Pedro Ximénez)
• Potpourri* Cordial
• Grandma's Liquor Tea

Expect to taste a big body of tart red berry notes, with beautiful woody/ nutty and sweet raisin sherry vibes with a candied floral sweet-like finish.

Well, Grandma, I must say - quite a taste you have there 🤌

*Not actually potpourri - that would be face chewingly awful. Think more "Potpourri-esque" botanicals, like candied orange, cinnamon, star anise etc.

There's been quite a bit of radio silence for us, but just because there's no chatter on the ol' kickass radio doesn't mean hands haven't been busy. We have CERTAINLY been busy little kickass bees.

This is a good opportunity to break that silence, and offer some soothing reassurance in a non-revealing kind of way, yaknow - to keep them mystery vibes hanging like that tense period before thunder. 🌩️

The Teapot in Leeds Kirkgate market is widely known for their broad range of quality coffees, teas, honey and knowledge of all of the above.

We've worked closely with them over the past few years and love to shout about using their amazing produce.

Our core three cocktails all feature different tea blends from their range.

We've also just finished tinkering and finishing off our lip smacking espresso martini twist - you'll catch all the deetz soon enough.
