DRESS TO SWEAT X Q***R BY GUM

Missed us? Not to worry - we've got a special one for you lot this time. New venue, new DJs, same ethos: we're here to get your bodies moving and your brows beading, and to do it right we thought we best team up with local legends Q***r By Gum.

That's right, you're getting not one but two crews dedicated to playing you the best in new club music all night long. We love what QBG have been up to this year, building safe spaces for the community to create in, and we're so excited to be collaborating with them as we launch the next chapter of Dress to Sweat. We'll have some of their crew, including D2S legend Vaz, spinning an assortment of sonic delights for you all, and we're gonna have a few copies of their latest incredible zine issue available on the night too (a day before they launch, no less!)

You know what we're all about here at D2S: playing you the latest underground club music that we love in a space that feels safe for all. We're so excited to be hosting this one at Dam Good Coffee, a lovely little local business with vibes as big as their rig (and the rig is huge, trust us).

Expect everything from house, techno, Breaks, Jungle, DnB, q***r bangers and weird grooves - we like to keep you on your toes with our multi-genre selections.

We've more info about our lineup coming in next few days but rest assured it's a special one, with returning to Lancaster to headline the show for you, local icon bringing you the best of experimental club, and our residents , Chef de Party and Impeller doing what they do best. Absolutely not one to be missed!

Well haven't we got a good bit of news for you lot: given that it's Lancaster Music Festival week, we thought we'd celebrate by putting on a special free (yes, free!) party for you all!

LMF have gigs on all day at Kanteena and we thought what better end to the Friday night than a proper sweaty do upstairs in Attika.

House, techno, footwork, Jungle, ukg, weird club edits of pop tunes - you name it, we'll probably be spinning it. Expect multi genre sets from our resident DJs for this full on festival affair!

Gonna be a blast this one, don't miss it. 11PM - 3AM, 14/08/22, Kanteena x

Big news, you lot: we're back again, next Friday, 7th October...and every Friday after that! We've been working away behind the scenes with the good folks at to make this happen - a proper bass night every weekend, so the raving crew in Lanny always have somewhere to go. Quite exciting that, innit?

And what better time to kick off our new weekly residency than freshers week? There's gonna be plenty of new kids on the block, so we need to show them how it's done round these parts with a proper party.

Our DJs will be drawing for anything from the heaviest jungle to 8 bar grime edits of the Cha Cha Slide - expect the unexpected and all that, but we can guarantee there'll be plenty of bass, breaks, and beats to get your brows a'beadin.

We're back. Next Friday, 09/09/22. Sweating more than ever, with our USB sticks and record bags chock full of new bangers to get your brows beading once again.

This time we're going back to basics, bringing our classic trio of residents , and the still-too-cool-for-socials Chef de Party back and reuniting them with the legendary .

You know what to expect from us now - genre blending sets that draw from breaks, garage, grime, house, techno, jungle, footwork. Anything and everything that'll get you sweating, basically.

Fresh off the press, it’s the test cress!
Thanks to the hard work behind the scenes by Dress to Sweat affiliate Al, the first pressing of our tasty cress dubs have landed, with the final release copies on their way to being ready for Friday. Come down and grab some cress on the night, with all proceeds being added to the pot as part of our support for a local charity, announcements to be made after the night with a final donation of everything up to now.
