J. Johnson Wine Bar and Bistro Pays Tribute to Fruit Market Legend
A historic Humber Street unit has been transformed by the team at Butler Whites to create a unique addition to the Fruit Market’s flourishing dining scene. Presenting three distinct spaces, J. Johnson is named after the fruit and nut wholesaler Jack Johnson, who previously ran his business from the two-storey building.
With the building dating back 170 years, this is an unmissable opportunity to view the city’s beautiful skyline and the ever-expanding Fruit Market from above. A south-facing roof terrace provides the perfect spot for evening meals, snacks and cocktails, complete with canopy and heaters for cooler nights.
We are delighted to open the Fruit Market restaurant that pays tribute to local history whilst celebrating modern ingredients and flavours.
