Just a little reminder about our Halloween event 🍁🍂🎃

We’re hoping to have a little tarot reading and a touch of magic and mystery throughout the evening, along with some rather wicked cocktails and plenty of lovely Italian food.

Fancy dress is very much encouraged, with a bottle of Prosecco for the best dressed on the night, so do make an effort!

As always, we’re family and dog friendly, so little witches, wizards and monsters are more than welcome, along with your four legged friends! 🖤

Well, we’re still recovering from another incredibly busy weekend! Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us and a big thank you to Paul Garbutt for such a fabulous performance ! 💖🙏

We’re back open as normal tomorrow and already looking busy for the week ahead, so if you’re planning on joining us, especially over the weekend, do try and book a table if you want to be inside in the warm (walk ins are always welcome if we have space)

We’ve got some lovely new specials coming onto both our food and cocktail menus, plus our Sunday Bottomless Brunch from 12 / 6pm! Pre booking essential🥂

🫖 From Thursday 22nd October, our Tipsy Teapot Afternoon Teas begin! A slightly different take on afternoon tea, with sandwiches, homemade cakes, freshly filled Sicilian cannoli and our family recipe tiramisù. Choose a traditional pot of tea or something a little stronger with our tea infused gin & tonics, and tea infused cocktails served in beautiful vintage teapots. Pre booking essential!

🎃 Halloween Saturday 31st October! We’ll be having a little Witching Hour, with a bottle of Prosecco for the best dressed! And if all goes to plan 😜 a little tarot reading, some magic and some other fun thrown in too!

🎄 Christmas bookings are now being taken! From private parties and venue hire to cocktail masterclasses, wh**ky tastings and food pairing evenings. Perfect for Christmas get togethers, birthdays or just an excuse for a good night out!

And with the weather getting colder, our warming soups, hot cocktails, mulled w**e and ciders will be making an appearance very soon.

As always, dog and family friendly, with our garden still open until 9pm for anyone brave enough!

For those asking what time the music starts later Paul Garbutt is joining us from around 6pm playing a few cheeky songs to get the weekend started! 🎶🍷🎵

We do have a few tables left inside, but with the weather looking rather miserable, we’d definitely recommend booking if you’re planning on popping down.

As always, our garden will be open until 9pm, although I think you’ll be much happier inside with the heating on tonight!

Plenty of lovely Italian food, our freshly prepared focaccias, award winning cocktails, proper Italian coffee and our rather indulgent thick Italian hot chocolate if you fancy something warming.

As always, children and four legged friends are very welcome!

A little bit of music, food, drinks and a nice cosy Friday evening. What more could you want? 🍷

Well the weather has definitely turned 😂🍂 but don’t worry, we will have the heating on!!

We’ve got our open focaccias and flatbread are on the specials now, all made fresh to order, including our absolute favourite fig, burrata & Italian hot honey and walnuts 🤌🇮🇹

We’ve also got some beautiful award winning cocktails ready for you to try, plenty of italain fine w**e, traditional coffee and obviously all our usual antipasti, sharing platters, burrata, bruschetta, cannoli and everything else.

Just a little heads up for this weekend Friday and Saturday are looking pretty full inside already, so if you definitely want an inside table please try and book incase we get full. We will of course have the garden open until 9pm as always if you’re brave enough for the Yorkshire weather 😂 (our outdoor blankets to keep you warm are on their way)

And if that’s not enough… our Bottomless Brunch starts THIS SUNDAY from 12.30pm🌟🥂🍾

Sharing platters, plenty of Prosecco and a nice long Sunday afternoon. This does need to be booked in advance, so just give us a message.

Since our lovely staff have gone back to school and uni WE’RE HIRING 🙌

We’re looking for two people to join our little team.

One all-rounder to help mainly on the floor taking food and drink orders but also be happy to jump behind the bar when needed.

And one person to join us in the kitchen, helping with prepping and preparing food and keeping everything running smoothly.

We’re a small team but we do get very busy, so you’ll need to be happy working in a fast paced environment and just getting stuck in wherever needed.

Experience would be great, but it’s definitely not essential as full training will be given.

🫖 THE TIPSY TEAPOT AFTERNOON TEA 🫖

Starting Wednesday 21st October, every Wednesday & Thursday until 6pm, we’ll be doing our own take on afternoon tea.

The Tipsy Teapot £40pp

You’ll each get your own vintage teapot filled with our tea infused Gin & Tonic, or Tea infused cocktails served in vintage teacups, alongside an afternoon tea to share with sandwiches, cakes, sweet treats and of course our fresh filled Sicilian cannoli and homemade tiramisù, made using our Nonna’s family recipe that’s been passed down through generations. 🇮🇹

If you fancy keeping things a little more traditional, we’ll also be doing our Traditional Afternoon Tea £28pp, with your own vintage pot of tea and the same afternoon tea to share.

Everything is made fresh for you, so these will be pre booking only.

And then there’s Sunday… 🥂

🍁🍂 Right, it’s definitely getting to that time of year where you need something warm ☕️🍫

We use Caffè Vergnano for both our coffee and our hot chocolate one of Italy’s oldest coffee houses, going all the way back to 1882 🇮🇹

Their coffee is still traditionally slow roasted, with the different origins roasted separately before being blended together. It takes a little longer, but gives it that lovely smooth Italian coffee taste without being overly bitter.

And if you’ve never tried a proper Italian hot chocolate, you should!

It’s completely different to what we’re used to over here. Italians like their hot chocolate thick… and we mean thick 😂 Rich, dense and almost more like a dessert than a drink and you can have it just as it comes or add a shot of something a little stronger if you fancy it, purely to keep you warm of course 😂

And if you’re into something sweet, we’ve also got our handmade Sicilian cannoli, plain or pistachio, along with apricot tarts and rhubarb & custard crowns. Everything is handmade and made fresh daily, and our cannoli are filled fresh to order 🇮🇹

Traditional Coffee, thick Italian hot chocolate and something sweet, not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

We’re now starting to do Bottomless Italian Brunch every Sunday 🥂🇮🇹

You’ll get one of our Italian sharing platters with meats, cheeses, antipasti, olives and bread, along with 90 minutes of bottomless Prosecco.

Or if you fancy making more of an afternoon of it, you can go for the Bottomless Spritz Brunch with Prosecco, Aperol, Hugo & Limoncello Spritz.

Just plenty of good Italian food and plenty to drink 😂🥂

It will be advance booking only, so if you fancy joining us one Sunday, just drop us a message and we’ll get you booked in.

Autumn is definitely creeping in now and we’ve got plenty going on over the next few months 🍁🍂🎃

Our grilled piadina wraps and open flatbreads are on the specials menu this week 🇮🇹

The fig, burrata & Italian hot honey has definitely become a favourite 🍯 and if you haven’t tried it yet, you really need to. Perfect with a glass of w**e… obviously 🍷

We’ve also finally got our new website underway! It’s been one of those jobs we’ve been meaning to get sorted for ages, so it’ll be lovely to have everything in one place menus, events, bookings, and everything else we get up to.

There’s quite a bit being planned behind the scenes for autumn and winter too, w**e and wh***ey tastings, masterclasses, Halloween Christmas Day then on to NYE and a few other things we’ll tell you about soon.

And of course, the wh**ky shelves are filling up again with some of our favourites from around the world.

For now though, we’re looking forward to another busy weekend with our riverside garden ( when it starts to flow again ) open until 9pm, indoors until 11pm. Family and dog friendly 🐾🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
