We’re looking for two new people to join our lovely little team at U Tagghiu Anticu in Helmsley 🤍🇮🇹

👩‍🍳 KITCHEN ASSISTANT IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for someone to help with preparing fresh food, plating dishes, keeping the kitchen organised and making sure everything is kept to a really high standard throughout service.

Our kitchen is small but can get extremely busy, so we need someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working at a good pace. Experience would be great, but full training can be given to the right person.

🍽️ FRONT OF HOUSE FROM 20TH SEPTEMBER

This is predominantly a floor based from 6pm most days the role is welcoming customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing and resetting tables and making sure everyone is well looked after.

There will be occasional bar work when needed, but this role is mainly about great customer and table service.

We can get busy, particularly at weekends, so we’re looking for someone confident, friendly, reliable and used to working in a busy, fast paced environment.

Part time and full time hours available, hours can vary throughout the year and may reduce during the quieter winter months.

We’re a small independent business and everyone mucks in, so we’re looking for people who are happy to work as part of a team and help wherever needed.

❤️ A LITTLE FAMILY TIME ❤️

Just a little note to say that we’ll be closed tomorrow (Wednesday).

It’s been an busy few weeks for us, and we’ve decided to take the day to spend some much needed time with family and have a little breather. ❤️

We’ll be back open as normal on Thursday, refreshed and ready to welcome you all back for good food, Italian coffee, cocktails, wine and everything in between. 🇮🇹🍷☕️🍸

We would normally be closed on a Monday, but as it’s Bank Holiday Monday, we’re OPEN! ❤️

Come and spend part of your Bank Holiday with us whether it’s for some good food, a proper Italian coffee, a glass of wine, a cocktail or spritz, or just a little something sweet.

Our riverside garden is open too, and of course we’re dog & family friendly 🐾

We’re only small and everything is freshly prepared, so if you’re planning on joining us for food, please do try and book a table where possible. Walk ins are always very welcome, but there may be a little wait if we all get hungry at once! 😂

🇮🇹 What a week it’s been so far! ❤️ Thank you so much to everyone who’s been in to see us, whether it’s been for a coffee, some food, a few drinks or just to sit and enjoy the garden. We really are so grateful.

We’re back today and whatever the weather decides to do, we’ve got you covered 😂🌿🌧️

Our riverside garden is open while the weather behaves, or if it does turn a little wet later, come and get cosy inside.

We’ve got all our usual Italian food, sharing plates and nibbles, beautiful Italian wines, cocktails and spritz, cold beers, proper Italian coffee, plenty of alcohol free options, soft drinks and sweet treats too. 🇮🇹

We’re dog friendly and family friendly, food is served until late and we’re open late too so whether you’re just popping in for a quick coffee or staying for a few Sunday drinks, everyone is welcome. 🐾❤️

And don’t forget, we’re OPEN TOMORROW for Bank Holiday Monday too! 🥂

If you’re coming for food, please try and book a table if you can. We are only small and everything is prepared fresh to order, so there’s only so much we can do at once. Walk ins are always welcome though and we’ll always do our best to fit everyone in.

🍊 A little something new behind the bar 🥭

A huge thank you to Pago Fruit Juice⁠ for very kindly sending us this beautiful selection of juices to sample.

We’re always looking for really good quality ingredients to use behind our bar, particularly when it comes to our cocktails, so naturally there has been some very important taste testing going on. 🍸

Pago has actually been producing fruit juices since 1888, and today you’ll find those distinctive little green bottles in bars, cafés and restaurants across Europe and beyond. Their juices are made using natural fruits, with no artificial sweeteners, aromas or preservatives, and there are some absolutely gorgeous flavours in the range.

Strawberry, mango, pineapple, cranberry, pink grapefruit, pear, peach… we already have quite a few ideas. ❤️

We’ll be choosing some of our favourites to use in a selection of our cocktails going forward and perhaps a few for anyone who just fancies a really lovely fruit juice on its own.

Thank you again, Pago. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the testing so far… although choosing the favourites might take a little longer. 😂🍹

🇮🇹 A little update for this week…

Unfortunately we’ll be closed tomorrow as we’ve got a bit of work that needs doing which we can’t really avoid.

On a better note… we’re OPEN BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY! 🥂

We’re already looking pretty busy, so if you’re planning on coming for food please try and book a table if you can. We’re only small and everything is made fresh to order, so we like to space our bookings out rather than take too many at once and not have everything come out as it should. Walk-ins are of course always welcome. ❤️

We’ll have all the usual traditional Italian coffee, fresh food, sharing plates, snacks and desserts, award winning cocktails, spritz, beautiful Italian fine wine, hand pulled ales, soft drinks and plenty nonalcoholic drinks too.

And hopefully some Bank Holiday sunshine for a drink in our riverside garden, open until 9pm. 🌿🥂

We’re so excited to have the lovely Molly Jane back singing with us this Sunday from 5:30pm in the main room! 🎶❤️

Her last performance with us was absolutely beautiful and we had so many lovely comments afterwards, so we genuinely can’t wait to welcome her back.
