Unfortunately now is the time to announce that we will be ending the lease at Retro bar at the end of April. We've held fast under some very tough times but unfortunately the industry has been it hard over the past few years and i's been a labor of love to keep things open with footfall diminishing, even running as a once-a-month venue with our friends at Rockbox. The building has also now been sold and given the amount of work needed and increase in costs the decision has been made a little easier for us.

We'd like to thank you all for you support over the years, for all the good times, hazy nights out and questionable song requests.

We will be going out with a bang though and ask you all to come out and join us for one final weekend at the Rero Bar Harrogate Well be postponing the upcoming Rockbox until that weekend and opening as follows.

Friday 18th - (9PM - late) Rockbox
Saturday 19th - (9PM-late) Classic Retro Playlist, Request Friendly

Unfortunately we don't have draft at this time but have tins/bottles at a reasonable price and the "usual spirits"

Tonight, Friday 27th December will be our final night of opening to the public as a weekly venue.

Foot-fall at this side of town has been declining over the past few years and unfortunately I am in a situation now where I have greatly increased family responsibilities as well as working long hours in my day job. It's been fun running weekly, and I've met a lot of friends along the way and want to thank you all for your support.

We have plenty of cans in and the back bar but please be understanding that we don't have draft on this evening and may run out of your favourite drink.

This is not the end though - we will carry on running as a monthly venue and concentrate on a couple of larger events, which we hope you will be kind enough to support.
