To all our dear friends, loyal customers and the awesome people of Halifax that have paid us visits over the years.

It is with great sadness we announce that The Middle Bar will be closing it’s doors, indefinitely on the 4th November, after 6 years of business. We cannot thank you all enough for your custom, the memories you’ve made for us and the fun times we’ve all had together. You have made The Middle Bar, THE MIDDLE BAR! Without you guys it wouldn’t have had the sensational atmosphere, the awesome music picked by yourselves, the remarkable people who are genuinely are some of the kindest, loveliest people we’ve ever met and all the chilled out, happy and friendly vibes that the bar holds, that we feel makes us unique and we will hopefully be remembered for.
We love you guys and will miss you all very much!

God, I think I felt a tear just roll down my cheek then… 😭

However, the GOOD NEWS (always start with the bad, then follow with the good 🤨🤣)…
The good news is, that thanks to DEADLAST and State Of Error , we will not be going out without a BANG (especially with it being the night before bonfire night, obviously 🙄). 💥💥💥🍂🍁
These amazing, talented bands have been absolute legends and organised a gig for our last ever night.
It’s going to be beyond AWESOME!!! 🖤🤘🏻🎸🎶 So if you love The Middle Bar and you love these phenomenal bands, you DO NOT want to miss this.

💥 You can mosh until your hearts content.

💥 We will be selling off all the existing stock, so the prices will be too low to say no.

💥 The atmosphere will be friendly and fantabulous, as per usual.

Our fantabulous bartender, Pjay is an “Old Fashioned” kind of gentleman…. Class, charm, sophistication and a hint of biceps (great for shaking cocktails), he is the perfect specimen to kindly model for our cocktail of the week. (Again). 🤣

He’s actually getting rather good at this… 🤔

OK, OK… We don’t want you racking your brains for too long, SO let’s get those OLD FASHIONED cocktails stirred and served for just £5 each, this week! Get the hint? 😜

£5.00 in comparison to our standard menu price of £8.50, means you really don’t want to miss out on this fine offer. I mean, how good is that?! It almost makes you want to order 3 more! 😉

NOTE, BEFORE ORDERING:

The 12 rules for being an old fashioned gentleman:

1. Always pay a visit to The Middle Bar. Duh. (That one’s a no brainier).
2. Always put your specks on. It makes you look sophisticated and intelligent.
3. Always say please and thank you very much. We love good manners. ❤️
4. PLEASE aim for the toilet, not the floor or the wall. (We appreciate your cooperation).
5. Always order 2 or more cocktails, never just the one. It’s rude.
6. ALWAYS request the Vengaboys. Not because it’s classy, just because we like it.
7. Never kiss and tell. That’s if you’re lucky enough to get lucky. 😉🤣
8. Always lift your little finger when sipping fine wines and cocktails. Don’t ask why, just do it.
9. Hold the door open for the ladies and even the gents, if you happen to spot any… 🤔 Just kidding boys! 😅
10. When asking for an espresso martini always ask for an espresso, not an expresso. Pronunciation is the key. 💁🏼‍♀️😜
11. Compliments go a long way, so feel free to recommend the bar on Facebook… HINT. 😜Remember, if you don’t have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut and your fingers immobile. 😆
12. Check in and strike a pose. You’ll even get a free shot! You know the drill, people!
13. You have to be witty and have a good sense of humour. We are only joking and we absolutely love you guys! I had to slip that last one in there! 😅
