❌❌ CLOSING DOWN ❌❌
It is with a heavy heart we announce we are closing Peggottys after this weekend.
It has been an incredible 4 years, being told by Stonegate, we have sold more beer in 4 years than in the previous 15 years put together is a huge compliment and only have our beautiful staff to thank for that. Peggottys has and was never just a pub or club to us, it was a family and a community, we are so proud what we have been able to do for each other purely from this one venue. We have given over 15 people flair cocktail training, given over 8 people their security course and SIA badge, trained and provided 2 new DJ’s with equipment to get started a platform to play on and the confidence to go follow their dream, we’ve been able to see 2 people move into their first homes with help with deposits and garentors, we’ve provided one with his personal license, 2 with driving lessons, we’ve had partners meet and have children together, we’ve been asked to be god parents to 2 and seen those families flourish. There’s so much more too, the staff days or nights out and the regular customers who became part of the family. We honestly have had the most incredible 4 years and feel very blessed and would not change it for the world. But it’s now time for us to pass the reigns on.
I myself, lost my Mum quite suddenly earlier on this year and as anyone who knows me, will a test to, it was the only thing that I was ever scared of in the world. It’s had a huge effect on my life being without my absolute world, my rock my life. And at almost 44, I now want to spend more time with our beautiful friends, family, god children and of course our beautiful dogs. And definitely can’t do the 4am closes any more lol
We honestly thank everyone for making something truly magical happen over the last 4 years.
(Oh and the staff are happy to have Christmas off and all are being paid holiday pay to ensure they all have money for Christmas!)
