Our Story

Liverpool was home to many great Bands in the 80s. Many we’re top of the Singles and Album Charts not just in the UK. Liverpool also had many brilliant Clubs and Club Nights including the famous Planet X. Over the years nights vanished to Manchester and Venues changed their music policy. Souvenir is a small part of a alternative come back. And yes the name is from a OMD Single. Souvenir has a slight 80s Horror Theme to it as many will notice ! We intend to run a memorable Night, right in the heart of Liverpool.

Our music policy is strictly 80’s : Dark Early 80s Synthpop, New Romantic, Post Punk, Alternative and Indie Anthems. So you will hear a mix of classic hits by: Depeche Mode, Sisters Of Mercy, Gary Numan, Bauhaus, David Bowie, Joy Division, Ultravox, Soft Cell, Visage, Japan, OMD, Simple Minds, Talk Talk, OMD, Kraftwerk, John Foxx, Siouxie & The Banshees, The Smiths, The Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen. A Flock Of Seagulls, The Associates, Blancmange, New Order, Dead Or Alive, The Human League, Bronski Beat, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Billy Idol and loads more !

Note: We may play the odd late 1970s track and some very early 90s tracks !
