OUR JANEY 🤍

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Janey Godley.

Janey became a friend of ours back in the beginning of our journey and will forever remain in our hearts. The many nights of laughter we shared together with her from sharing jokes on stage, to hosting and giving comedians a platform for a night of ‘Just Comedy’ as Janey always put it.

A catalyst to the success of our venue all thanks to the belief and determination from Janey to make this place work, she never failed to show up and to thank all those in front, behind and on the stage when really it was us who were to be thankful for Janey. A total powerhouse in the industry but one with the biggest heart who always thought of others first.

We have a lost a friend but we will forever treasure those moments of happiness that Janey brought to us all.

✨ Bolly Ditz Dolly - Award-winning ‘Neo-Bollyesque’ Queen known for bringing ‘big DITZ energy’ and a unique blend of burlesque and Bollywood that celebrates the golden tunes of yester-year with a tassel-twirling twist.

✨ Tito Bone - This self-proclaimed “Accessexy AF” performer is just your ‘average blind enby bisexual drag king who wants you to smell the world through their nose’.

Paul Riley is heading back to 18 Candleriggs due to popular demand on the 8th of November!

Best known as Winston in BBC and Netflix’s Still Game, Paul returns with his stand-up show, “The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot”.

With a career spanning over 35 years of acting, writing and performing, the double BAFTA award-winner will be discussing his journey through life so far, including varied themes such as; an ecumenical debate with a bishop about E.T., partying with Motörhead, and being held at gun point by armed police!

Intrigued? You should be! And, if you’re really lucky, he will tell you how he once locked the Krankies in a cupboard...

Paul is really looking to seeing faces old and new in what promises to be a unique and hilarious evening with one of comedy's favourites!
